What it costs
The Immunization Webdriver is a flat per-month fee based on the average number of immunizations your practice gives per month.
Fees
Your practice’s subscription fee is billed month-to-month. There are no contracts or long-term commitments. If you don’t like it or don’t need it anymore, just delete the program and you’re done.
Practice size | Monthly subscription |
---|---|

ROI: Small Practice
A small thriving practice that gives 30 vaccines a day might reasonably expect staff costs of $220 per month for manually keying in immunization data.
number of vaccines given per week | 150 | about 30 vaccines per average working day |
staff time to key in each vaccine | 1.2 minutes | logging in to the IIS, finding the patient, choosing the vaccine, entering VFC eligibility, lot number, site and route |
staff cost per hour | $18 | ($15/hr wages plus $3/hr taxes and benefits) |
weeks per month | 4.2 | |
150 vaccines/week * (1.3/60) hr/vaccine * $18/hr * 4.2 weeks/month = $226.80 |
By spending $125/month on the Immunization Webdriver, the same practice would only need to spend a mere $13 on staff time that month to run the program, for an annual estimated cost savings of over $1000.
time it takes to run the Immunization Webdriver daily | 120 seconds | extracting the file from your EMR, loading it into the program, and clicking Upload |
staff cost per hour | $18 | ($15/hr wages, $3/hr taxes and benefits) |
workdays per month | 22 | |
Immunization Webdriver subscription | $125 | |
(120/3600) hrs/day * $18/hr * 22 days/month plus $125/month = $138.20 |
ROI: Large Practice
A larger multisite practice which gives about 750 vaccines a week, even with a rapid staff member who can enter vaccine data in 45 seconds, might pay over $700 per month for hand entry.
number of vaccines given per week | 750 | about 150 vaccines per average working day |
staff time to key in each vaccine | 45 seconds | logging in to the IIS, finding the patient, choosing the vaccine, entering VFC eligibility, lot number, site and route |
staff cost per hour | $18 | ($15/hr wages plus $3/hr taxes and benefits) |
weeks per month | 4.2 | |
750 vaccines/week * (45/3600) hours/vaccine * $18/hour * 4.2 weeks/month = $708.75 |
By contrast, investing in an Immunization Webdriver subscription at $350/month results in net monthly costs of $362.60.
time it takes to run the Immunization Webdriver daily | 120 seconds | extracting the file from your EMR, loading it into the program, and clicking Upload |
staff cost per hour | $18 | ($15/hr wages, $3/hr taxes and benefits) |
workdays per month | 22 | |
Immunization Webdriver subscription | $350 | |
(120/3600) hours/day * $18/hr * 22 days/month plus $350/month = $363.20 |
This saves a larger practice well over $4000 per year. When you add in overtime costs associated with seasonal flu clinics — plus the unexpected cost savings bonus of the IW’s vaccine error checking, it makes even more financial sense.
